Jaycee's Day

Little miss Jaycee Grant was blessed today, Her father gave her a beautiful one. We traveled all the way out to the Power Ranch ward to participate in this beautiful event. After the meeting we made our way over to Leslie and Jaycen's for a variety of sugar overloads (YUMMY!). I could not get enough of this little girl, I have not seen her since the day she was born, now she is almost 2 months old, and she is a little chunk-a-roonie. We brought our camera to take some pic's of her that Leslie had wanted, so we decided to post a couple for your viewing pleasure. Jaycee wore her cousin Maigan's blessing dress, my mom made her a blessing day blanket, and she wore the bracelet that my cousin Melinda made for her. The happy little family in their beautiful home. Jaycee is looking more and more like Leslie every day but she has Jaycen's dark hair! Congrats to them on this wonderful day!!

Softball Update and Such.......

Well the softball season was a lot of fun for me even though we lost pretty much all of the games, it got me out doing a sport that I love to play. Yesterday was our last game, I lasted in the game about 15 minutes, until I was sliding into 2nd base and the baseman landed on my left ankle , my body went one way and my ankle went with the baseman, so Jodi got a phone call about my injury, and I was thankfully able to drive all of the way home to pick her up, (I just wanted to go get a bag of ice and put it on my foot), but upon picking her up I was vetoed and we were on our way to an extended open urgent care. We got registered, and I had to take off my cleat on my left foot, that was sooooo much fun, my ankle ballooned up, you could not even see my ankle bone, they took me to x-ray's and then I got to take their wheel chair back to the lobby, until the doctor could see me. The urgent care doctor saw me and the outcome is that I am in a soft cast for the next four days and I get to use crutches. I got some good medicine, Vicodin, before we left, we then had to make a stop at walmart, I got to use their electric cart, (that was totally cool, because everyone moves out of your way), but I determined that they suck at going fast, I tried to race Jodi, granted she was walking, I was like a turtle on the motorized chair. I gave up, but I had Jodi cracking up at me because I would do hand signals to indicate that I was going to turn, I think the vicodin was slowly starting to kick in. Today {thursday} is day one of staying off of my foot, and I am already going nuts, but am enjoying the factor that I get to watch my movies while Jodi is at work until midnight!
