Yesterday Jodi and I spent the day together, we went for a scenic drive through central area up the Bush Highway and State Route 87. We had a blast. We even put out a smoldering fire that some irresponsible doof left. The first picture is a view looking north over a place called Mud Springs (great 4wheeling place).
The next pictures is a cactus flower that bloomed. The cactus was really small, about the size of a one liter bottle of water, and the flower was the size of a silver dollar. Cactus flowers in the desert are awesome to see, they are really colorful. Most of the cactuses were in bloom, except for the ones where the birds had eaten all of the flower seeds and buds off of it. But it was a very gorgeous site to see all of the different kinds and colors of flowers in bloom.
This little guy on the rock is the guard dog for Mesquite Wash (another great 4 wheeling place, camping, a day playing in the water). Jodi took this picture, we laughed about this little guy. He was defending his rock from what ever came down the road.
This last picture I took was cool. I was walking along the Salt river bank and saw this guy fly fishing out in the middle of the river. He was doing good out in the middle. He caught 3 trout while I was standing there.
